Description
Take the recently reopened Graham Valley road to Flora Saddle (early for a car park) then on to the steep little grunt (400 m up) to the top of Lodestone (1462 m) with views in all directions incl along the ridge to Crusader and across to Mt Arthur. Also to nearby Mt Hodder (1377 m) which is a potential sidetrip or alternate exit. Otherwise the standard route straight down to Flora Hut and check out any graffiti defiling our lovely renovation. Then 30 min back to the car park. Possibly do in reverse for a bit of variety on the old faithful trip/route.
This trip replaces the previously listed day trip to Wooded Peak.
