Meet at the Richmond Badminton Hall at 9.30am, head out to Brightwater on the cycle trail, to Wakefield via  Wairoa Valley / Pig Valley and return. Bring some cash for a coffee or two, and your lunch as well. Approximate riding time - at my not very fast pace -   somewhere around 4.5 hours.  Add some time for lunch etc.

(The road from the cycle track bridge to Brightwater is rough for about 1k and not suitable for road / racing type tyres, also some of the Wairoa Valley is not sealed.)
