Description  

SATURDAY (change from Sunday due to weather). We will proceed to Rainbow Skifield. We will give training on some basics of handling an iceaxe and wearing crampons. Also moving confidently and safely on snow; ascending and descending steeper slopes; self arrest. If the team proves keen and competent then an ascent of nearby Peanter Peakwill be attempted. In any case a good day out and training for the Angelus trip next weekend. The club has some gear for loan.
