Description  

Springs Junction.  Day1 - From the Marble Hill car park, ford the Maruia River and follow the Alfred 4wd track to Pell Stream. Follow a good benched track to Gilchrist Creek and descend into Pell Stream. Head upstream, fording where required and exiting the stream bed onto a plateau to avoid a gorged section. Dropping back into the stream and then crossing 2km of grassy flats up to the hut.  Day2 - Return same route. 5-7hrs.
