Description
[Note: Stay Matakitaki Lodge Friday evening.] Day 1: Cross the Matakitaki River by bridge and head up Nardoo Creek to Nardoo Bivouac. Day 2: Climb up behind the bivvy and attain the ridge. Travel along the ridge to Nardo, then descend from the ridge along the steep track going off the north ridge. Once in the valley follow the same route back to Matakitaki Lodge and home.
