Description

For all grades. Bring compass & GPS if available.  At the Glover family property at Glenhope. Hut bunk space for 6 or bring own tent. Hut available Friday night also.  

Saturday morning @ 9.00am: Indoor compass familiarisation, map reading, grid references.

Saturday afternoon: Outdoor practice with travelling on a compass bearing.  Sat  3.00pm We will divide into teams of mixed abilities and begin a 1.5 hour navigation circuit in the bush, using everything that has been practiced.   Sat evening. BBQ & pot luck tea. 

Sunday morning: For anyone wanting to stay over night, Sunday morning will be a chance for more practice and  I will try and answer any questions people may still have. Finish approx 2.30pm.This programme will work for those who can only make Saturday, as well as the people that come for both days.
