Description
Summertime and the swimming is easy! Easy walking on a very good track and mostly flat, although quite long. Many potential places to swim. Plan to go around the lakeside track anticlockwise with the possibility of a car shuttle to the track start off the Mt Robert Road. There is pretty beech forest to Coldwater Hut. Then wade the Travers and on to Lakehead Hut. Back to Kerr Bay through the more sparse forest on the Eastern side.
