Description  

A final working-bee for our Outdoor Recreation Consortium project to renovate this classic FS 6-bunk hut. Five very keen workers required to fly in / walk out. The main job is painting the interior and exterior of the hut. Potentially this could extend to 2 nights as there is a heap of work to be completed and weather is a factor for the exterior painting and for crossing the W. river on the way out.

This is a follow-up to the very successful w/b in February led by Ian and Silvano that did extensive building work: some repiling, lined the ceiling, removed the old open fireplace & chimney and installed a wood burning stove plus flue and a new bench-top.
