Description
Sunday Follow the Wairoa Gorge Road into the right branch then up Ben Nevis Road to the start point. The track leads through beech forest and open clearings on Gibbs Spur then steeply to the summit of Ben Nevis at 1619m. On this trip we plan to follow the relatively easy ridgeline over a few bumps and on towards Mt Ellis before returning the same way. Four wheel drives preferred for the road in..
