Nelson Anniversary weekend

Friday night: Camp at Rolling River or option to drive in early Saturday.

Saturday: Walk up Wangapeka Valley to Stone hut or camp nearby.

Sunday: Follow Mt Luna route up Stone Creek to climb Mt Luna, then down to camp/stay at Kiwi Saddle hut. Option to climb Mt Patriarch and return to hut.

Monday: Along ridge and out either via Gibbs or Chummies tracks depending on time and river flow. Options can change, of course, depending on progress and weather.
