Description  

Saturday

From Kerr Bay, St Arnaud. Zig zag up through the beech forest to the outcrop of rocks just above the bushline for great views.  From here we will probably continue steeply up through the tussock to the ridgeline, and possibly along the ridge for another 20 minutes or so for views to the head of the lake and the Mt Robert Range. May descend via the Grunt track. Approx 5-7 hours depending how far we go.  Approx 1100m climb.

Trip is scheduled for Sunday.  However, if the weather looks significantly better on Saturday the day may be changed closer to the time.
