Description  

Anniversary Day weekend

Saturday afternoon: Drive to the Anatori River mouth and camp or stay in Collingwood motor camp depending on party preferences and weather.

Sunday: Follow the coastline for approx. 18km to Kahurangi Keepers House (1 hut ticket) near Kahurangi Point.

Monday: Look around the area before returning to cars and home.

Note: Some river estuary crossings. Low tide is mid morning. Please note that this trip is very weather dependent.. If it rains the rivers will be unsafe to cross.
