Description
Phone 020 4108 5078 Climb Mt Franklin in Nelson Lakes National Park. Water taxi across Lake Rotoroa then walk up the Sabine Valley to Blue Lake hut (1 serviced hut ticket per night) on the Saturday. Climb Mt Franklin (2340m) from Blue Lake hut on the Sunday. Return the same way to Rotoroa on Monday. Ice axe and crampon experience essential to climb Mt Franklin. Cost of water taxi will depend on number of participants and is additional to shared petrol cost Map Series: Topo50 BS24
