Description  

Day 1 Robert carpark to Sabine hut Lake Rotoroa via Speargrass approx 8hrs

Day 2 Sabine hut to West Sabine approx 5 hrs 230m climb, possible option of going on to Blue lake only if all keen.

Day 3 West sabine to Blue lake 3 hrs, 510m climb with plenty of time for a side trip to lake Constance.

Day 4 From Blue lake climb steeply to Moss pass and down to George Lyon hut approx 6hrs with 600m climb.

Day 5 George Lyon to D'urville hut and Lake Rotoroa 7- 8 hrs

Day 6 D'urville hut to Speargrass hut

Day 7 From Speargrass an easy 3hr walk out to Robert carpark and home.

As tracks will be busy over this period it will be necessary to carry a tent.
