A more gradual height gain than from the Granity side, Sunrise Ridge provides interesting route finding through a karst landscape.

Day 1: From Owen Valley East Road, walk up the Fyfe River to Branch Creek hut (1 hut ticket).

Day 2: Ascend to Mt Owen tops and Replica Hill. Summit if desired then camp in Poverty Basin.

Day 3: Walk along ridge to Sunrise Peak and descend to Owen River and back to cars.
