Come for a fabulous break in the snow, create your own adventure, if you simply want to share transport costs and spend weekend in Hamner, call me. If skifield ends up closing, plan to still head there for weekend and so have booked two nights (Fri/sat) in backpackers. This is the rough plan..

Friday 22nd, Drive to Hamner. Stay in value accommodation. Book early, reservations can be cancelled free. Currently beds available at Kakapo lodge from $28. 0800 782 952. We may leave Nelson in the morning to enable us to have a day chillin in Hamner and the hot pools : ). I have booked Fri and Sat nights for myself at this stage.

Saturday 23rd, Get shuttle to skifield, cost $40 from Hamner springs adventure centre 0800 368 7386 leaves 9.15am or drive if willing driver and share costs. SKI, yippee.

Stay in lodge on skifield. $120 for two days pass and nights accommodation, or book bed only, $20. Check out www.skihamner.co.nz. You need to book your bed in the skifield cabin in advance.

Sunday SKI, Sledge, walk etc and back out and home.

If you are interested, let me know, the expectation is you book yourself but if able and keen to drive to field let me know too, so I can co-ordinate. If you want to just rock on up Saturday, driving straight there is another option, open to suggestions. : ).
