Description  

Day 1: Drive to Lewis Pass, then on to the carpark, and walk into Ada Pass Hut.

Day 2: Follow the eastern tributary of Maruia River to the head of the valley and over the saddle. Contour below the ridgeline and gain access to the south west ridge from a saddle. Follow the ridge to Gloriana Peak. Return to the hut and out.

Addendum

Barry James would like to spend an extra 2 nights and complete the St James Walkway. So anyone interested in exiting via the St James and the Boyle River, after climbing Gloriana please give Barry a call (5466153).
