Description  

Devil's thumb (1206m) is the prominant solo peak on the skyline to the north-east of the Mt Owen massif. This is a first for a club trip, however don't be expecting views or a gentle climb as it will be untracked and steep with a wooded summit. Rather, the fun will be in the journey!  Confirmation of the trip is dependent on where cattle are grazing (not my fear of cows!) and so will be determined by landowner few days prior.  So will aim for Saturday, or Sunday or move date if necessary.
