Description  

We have had to postpone the Old Ghost Road trip because DOC have closed the track in the Mokihinui Gorge.

As an alternative we will do a four day trip in the Wangapeka. Probably up Chummies track to John Reid, then across to Kiwi Saddle hut and down to Stone hut, with side trips to Mt Patriarch and Mt Luna. There are various options depending on weather, state of the river, etc.

This is a moderately fit trip with good tracks and huts most of the way and not too long days.
