Description
For some of us this is the last section of the Pelorus to St Arnaud Route to complete. Hunters Hut, Porters Hut and out via Red Hills Hut. Can be done as a Crossover. More details to come.
IMPORTANT
These 2 huts will be added to the DOC booking system in October. Please give early indication of your intention to do this trip as I wil make bookings in the huts on Oct 8th. There is an option to camp.
DAY1
We get driven up to Inwoods Lookout and walk up and over the Hill and down to the N branch of the Motueka River. Travel up the river until we turm off to climb the last grunty bit to Hunters Hut.
Day 2 Walk to Porters Hut
Day 3 Walk out via Red Hills Hut
Registration It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)CLUB MEMBERS must LOGIN HERE to register so that your details auto-populate the registration fields.
