Sunday (or Saturday if the weather is kinder) From St Arnaud follow the eastern side of Lake Rotoiti for a few kms to the start of the aptly-named Grunt track (DoC trapline). Follow to the ridgeline then head north. Return via Parachute Rock track. 14km with steep 1000m climb.
