Sunday 4WD road and farm track","This is a prominent peak on the Golden Bay side of Takaka hill with good views down the Takaka Valley and across to Barrons Flat. From the end of Waitui road (off Cobb Valley Rd) there is a 4WD road to a saddle overlooking the Waitui stream from where you follow up a farm track which zig zags up the open face of Hailes Knob into the bush just below the summit.Sunday. 4WD road and farm track.
