Description  

THE VENUE HAS HAD A WATER SYSTEM BREAKAGE AND MAJOR FLOODING, NO POWER ETC. Talk may be rescheduled.

Club night at Tahunanui Community Hub, 55 Muratai Street, Tahunanui.  Doors open at 7:30pm for a cuppa, presentation starts at 7:45pm.  Gold coin donation for hall hire.

DEHYDRATION     OR          WATER INTOXICATION.

A presentation by Kath Ballantine and Anna Riddiford GP on some of the risks of incorrect hydration when out tramping.

Brian will talk about his experience of being dehydrated, Kath will talk about her experience of being "Water Intoxicated".
What happens to the body with these 2 extremes. The risk factors, and prevention (correct hydration).
