Very latest update, due to weather:
Saturday to Sabine
Sunday up via Cedric to Angelus
Monday out down the ridge.
Rego closes Thursday eve.
My preference is to go UP Mt Cedric, because it's more knee-friendly. However if the forecast is for blue skies on days 1&2, but rain on day 3 , I'd consider changing the direction.
The original Plan:
Friday, early drive to Robert car park and walk to Sabine Hut, 8 hrs
Saturday, via Mt Cedric to Angelus Hut, 6+ hrs. Very steep up. We might have some spare time to explore the Angelus basin, or even climb Mt Angelus on arrival (optional!)
Sunday, back to cars along the panorama ridge (or via Speargrass if bad weather), 6 or so hrs.
Will only go ahead if the forecast looks good for Saturday - I want to see the mountains :)
