Description
Day 1. Drive to Wainui Inlet in Golden Bay and do the short very easy walk to Wainui Falls and back. Stay Saturday night at one of the Golden Bay Camping Grounds. Day 2. Puponga Hill Top Track. Starts at the visitor centre and finishes at Wharariki Beach (low tide 4.25pm), passing Pillar Point Lighthouse and Cape Farewell with spectacular cliff views. Car shuttle back to the visitor centre to avoid road walk. Two cars min. ?m climb, 9km walk. Map Series: BN25,BP25. BM24
