Saturday

We will proceed to Rainbow Skifield. We will give training on some basics of handling an iceaxe and wearing crampons. Also moving confidently and safely on snow; ascending and descending steeper slopes; self arrest. If the team proves keen and competent then an ascent of nearby Peanter Peak will be attempted. In any case a good day out and training for future snow trips. The club has some gear for loan - Phone Mark Stevens 547 7038.
