From Trillobite Hut at the top end of the Cobb Reservoir. Good track with very little climb (5hrs). Possible climb to Waingaro Peak or Xenicus Peak before heading out next day. "Bring your togs..compulsory swim in the swimmable tarn 10 mins from the hut up on the saddle, excuses considered but unlikely to be accepted and be met with a suitable forfeit ."
