Description
Walk to Wainui Hut from Canaan Downs. A circuit can be done - We will take the Moa Park Track up to intersection with Evans Ridge Track of the Inland Abel Tasman. After some time a steep track leaves from this Ridge down to Wainui Hut. Enjoy lunch in the sun at Wainui Hut. We will follow the Wainui Creek up to where it joins the Moa Park track and complete the circuit. It is then just a short walk back to the cars. 5.5 - 6.5 hrs total
