Drive to Cobb - Trilobite carpark on Friday afternoon and sleep the night at the hut ($15 hut ticket or annual hut pass). We will need to do a car shuffle to Sylvester hut car park. Saturday: gentle walk up to Fenella hut then climb the ridge to camp at sleep on Waingaro Ridge, 250m above Fenella Hut. Sunday: hike across the tops of the Lockett Range and camp by Ruby or Diamond lake. Monday: Walk over Iron Hill and down to Sylvester hut for lunch, back to the carpark. Retrieve cars to head home. It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
