We will walk through to the top Eastern corner of the Sanctuary via Toutouwai spur, exit through a Hatch in the fence and go to Third House. We will return down another route through the Sanctuary. Recently Tieke were released into the Sanctuary, here is an opportunity to see if we can spot one of these birds, as well as enjoying the other birds that have proliferated since the Sanctuary has been predator free. We will meet at the Sanctuary Visitors centre at 9am. Cost - Sanctuary entry fee of $8 if you are from Nelson, or free if you are a Brook Waimarama Sanctuary supporter. |

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
