Following our successful tour of historic sites on the Mt Arthur Tableland in early March, I am opening up the second tour to a restricted number of fit trampers. (We already have 5 keen beans registered).
While the Flora Track is rated as 'easy', the off-track adventures through waist-high tussock will prove a bit more energy-sapping. We will attempt to avoid the party of politicians staying at Salisbury & Balloon Huts :-)

Intended Itinerary:
Easter Friday: Drive to Flora carpark. Walk 4WD road to Gridiron Gulch, along track (5 hrs) to Salisbury Lodge (serviced hut $15 each).
Easter Saturday: Visit Pillar & Richards Cave (4 hrs return). Set up camp at Dry Rock Shelter (Rock biv with mattresses; no charge).
Easter Sunday: Tramp to Cundy Creek & explore Bishops Cave, Edwin Moore's Grave & Blacksmith Shop. Follow water race to Balloon Hut. Possible ascent of Mt Peel, wx dependant. Return via Flora Track to cars.

Registration

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
CLUB MEMBERS must LOGIN HERE to register so that your details auto-populate the registration fields. You can edit these auto-populated fields but they aren't saved for later use. To permanently change them, edit them HERE." PLease register couples separately if both are attending.
VISITORS can register using their email address which will be used to send you trip registration confirmation details and the ability to cancel the trip registration. Please register each person attending separately.
