Speaker: Ray Salisbury, Author of 'Tableland- the history behind Mt Arthur.'

Ray has spent the past two years writing, editing and designing a 192-page social history of the Mt Arthur Tableland. Potton & Burton have done an excellent job in refining this coffee table book into what promises to be a real collector's item.
While the 1,500 print run is being bound in China, we expect to have a sample copy in hand to show you.
Come along with your questions about the Tableland, and learn about the old-time gold diggers, explorers, graziers, hunters, as well as recent hut renovations and cave exploration.

The author has a special affinity for the Tableland: he is a direct descendant of the first Motueka Valley pioneer, John Park Salisbury, whose brother discovered gold on the Tableland in 1863. John pioneered the grazing of sheep on the Tableland and on the adjacent Cobb River flats, where he built the first huts.

Plus, Ray is handing out a limited number of Book Discounts. Get a generous 20% off the RRP before the book launch in early November.
