Description
Trip moved to Sunday for better weather :) Day walk into the Hope Range. A steep climb, lovely bush and good views. We travel to Tui via Tapawera and follow Hodgkinsons Rd till the start of the track. The track goes through an area of pine forest at a reasonable incline, then as the incline increases we are in beech forest. The route is fairly steep and follows a ridge till it flattens off towards the peak. Return the same way. Map Series: NULL Agenda : Conical Hill, Hope Range, 18 Aug 2019
