Description
Sunday We will proceed to Rainbow Skifield and will give training on some basics of handling an iceaxe and wearing crampons. Also moving confidently and safely on snow; ascending and descending steeper slopes and self arrest. If the team proves keen and competent then an ascent of nearby Peanter Peak can be attempted. In any case a good day out and training for future snow trips. Snow gear can be borrowed from the club on a first come first served basis but priority will be given to club members.
