Queen's Birthday Weekend Ramble This relatively easy 3-day loop begins off the Lake Sumner Road, in northern Canterbury. Walking between 2-5 hours per day between huts: Gabriel Hut (4), Jollie Brook (7) & Coldwater Huts (6). Direction depends on weather. Stream crossings mean that wet boots are necessary.
