Description
Two day trip to the highest point in the Richmond Range. Day 1, from Inwoods Lookout climb 500m toward Nth Peak then drop down to the Motueka River via a well marked track. Travel upstream before a short climb to Hunters Hut. Day 2, a long day covering 23km over tussock slopes and rocky terrain to Red Hill and returning the same way. If worried about the length of day 2, talk with the trip leader about the possibility of spending a 2nd night at Hunters Hut or turning back before reaching Red Hill Map Series: NULL
