Description

Day 1: Mount Robert car park to Angelus Hut via Robert Ridge.
Day 2: Early start to see the sunrise from the North Ridge. Back to the hut for lunch then walk out via Robert Ridge.
The above is the ideal, however the weather will dictate what eventuates.The weather forecast is currently flip - flopping. There is a system coming in from the south and depending how this develops will determine whether we climb the peak and what our return route will be.There should be more snow on Thursday. This should bind with the old snow to make for good conditions.
Ice axe and crampons will be required.

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
