Description
Just an idea at this stage: Friday Drive to Lake Kaniere and climb Mt Brown Hut. It's a 4bunker only and needs booking! There are camping spots next to the hut. Saturday explore behind the hut, then descend and stay at Lake Kaniere campground.If time allows, walk the easy, but very pretty waterrace walk, crossing over with car swap. Sundaydrive to Smokeho carpark and climb to Ces clark Hut on the paparoa track (needs booking! Great walk) Monday descend via Mt Watson to loop back and drive home.All weather dependent.Working folk can join for parts of if.Details to follow.
