| This trip will run if we get two good weather days over Easter and the Thousand Acre Plateau trip is cancelled due to weather. As a local trip we may get better weather!THOUSAND ACRE PLATEAU TRIP IS CANCELLED.Day one will be up to Starveall Hut, a good grunty climb with some initial 8 river crossings. I ususally change my footwear to keep dry boots. We will camp or use the hut. Day two will be over the Hackett peaks and making our way down to exit via Hartebreak ridge, we go over Mt Sterwart. Hartebreak ridge starts around 822 and ends at the old bridge crossing to Wispering falls. Depending on the weather, we may continue along the ridge towards Dun mountain. Its very possible, havent done the loop myself but many others have.A club first. If it doesnt happen at Easter then the following weekend may be the go 11th and 12th.Welcome to register, baring in mind the above.TataAndrea / Ray Contact me on 03 5393758 if I dont know you.
