| We will stay at a bach in Collingwood (8 beds) and do day walks in that locality. If more than 8 people come, there is camping/cabins at the campground in Collingwood. We will drive to Collingwood for Friday night with dinner at the Mussel Inn on the way. Day walk Saturday, then a shorter walk on Sunday before heading home. Day walk options vary and will depend on what the group want to do. Options inlcude walks around Farewell Spit, Wharariki, Puponga Farm Park. If the weather is good Mt Stevens up the Aorere Valley or Parapara Peak are options. Or Taupo Point / Wainui Falls. | ||

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
