For all those folk out there who have rushed past this scenic and accessible site (yes, that includes me!) to parts further afield... Pelorus Bridge Scenic Reserve offers a range of walks from the wheelchair accessible 30 min Totara loop to the 4hr Trig K track including waterfalls, elevated views and probably a couple of slippery spots. Check it out before the sandflies reclaim this Lord of the Rings movie location for late summer! Warning - likely to involve Dad jokes and if warm enough, a dip at one or more of the outstanding swimming holes. Orc free event, Hobbits and children welcome. |

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
