Description
AGM and club night at Tahunanui Community Hub, 55 Muratai Street, Tahunanui. Doors open at 7:30pm for a cuppa, AGM starts at 7:45. Gold coin donation for hall hire. 7:45: AGM 8:15: Presentation by Michele Cunningham and Peter Phipps about their recent trip to Antarctica and the Sub-Antarctic Islands aboard the Heritage Expedition cruise. Peter and Michele went on a 4 week expedition cruise to the Subantarctic Islands and the Ross Sea region of Antarctica in February 2025, the ‘trip of a lifetime’. Come along to hear about their adventures, with a focus on the natural and human history of these areas, as well as their sea kayaking exploits on the journey.
