Friday travel in to road end in the Cobb and park at Tribolite Hut. Walk into Fenella on the Friday. Saturday can be shorter walks of a day walk to the tops depending on weather and enthusiasm. Plenty to choose from incl Mt Gibb and Xenicus Peak, Waingaro Peak. Lockett Range Ridge walk and the high level route to Lonely Lake (part-way). High level routes may be iced in. You will need a serviced hut ticket or an annual hut pass for two nights. Walk out Sunday morning. Update 9.6.25 I have put up a waiting list of 2 places as registrants sometimes pull out. As of this morning the trip is full. |

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
