Description
Maud Valley is accessed from the Howard Valley. We cross a farm (access permission to be obtained) then wander up the Maud river - multiple stream crossing - and observe mining relics and the remains of 2 private Huts. It is 2.5hrs to Maud Valley Hut and there is the possibility to go further up the valley through beech forest. Return via same route. Agenda : Maud Valley exploration, Buller district, 25 May 2025
Registration
It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor).
