Club night: Tahunanui Community Hub (55 Muratai Street) Arrive from 7:30pm for a cuppa, presentation starts at 7:45. Please note we are NOT able to enter the venue earlier than 7:15pm due to another group using the hall before us. Plese join us to hear guest speaker Joanna Taylor presenting on her recent Southern Alps traverse - sounds like an amazing trip! See below for her description of her presentation: Over the summer of 2023-2024 my partner Nic and I spent 80days walking the length of the Southern Alps. We started in Milford and ended with 3 days of packrafting down the Wairau River to finish at the Wairau Bar. We were roughly 50/50 on track to off track on a route we planned ourselves. The presentation of photos follows our journey from conception to completion.
