Description
This is a moderate, 4 to 5 hours return walk (6.7 km). The summit is 721m (50m at the start). We start the walk in Havelock and go up community tracks to the top of Mt Takorika, which overlooks Havelock and Pelorus Sound. Nice views from the top on a good day. It's an hour drive to Havelock from Nelson, we'll meet at the Cathedral Steps in Nelson. I've put the day down as Saturday, which leaves some flexibility to go Sunday instead if the weather is better then. Agenda : Mt Takorika, Marlborough Sounds, 24 August 2024
Registration
It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor).
