Description
NOTE: Confirmed for Saturday with fine weather! This is an exploration of part of the Link Pathway (walking and cycling) between Havelock and Picton. This looks to be the most scencic part following an old bridle track so well away from the road in most places but with views over the Sounds plus interesting native bush. Check the links below. https://linkpathway.nz/the-pathway/highlights-map-sections Here are the individual track sections. It is an Easy/Medium walk on a well-graded track. Total below is 15 km which would be less than 6 hours with breaks (Say 9.30 am to 3.30pm). It could be shortened by not doing the first section (Flat) or the final descent to SB. Let me know if you have any reservations.. With two cars loads, we will do a cross-over/key swap. It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-) CLUB MEMBERS must LOGIN HERE to register so that your details auto-populate the registration fields.
