Take the water taxi to Coldwater hut. Walk on the West of the Traverse river to the bridge over Travers River and back on the East side to Lakehead hut. This will be a 3 to 4 hour walk. For those who want to do a full days worth of tramping, there is the possibility to walk back on the East side of the lake to Kerr Bay. This will be decided closer to the date but some of the participants are opting for a shorter day. The trip leader will arrange transport on the lake. It will depend on the final number of participants whether it is possible to take a ferry (going 2x a day) or taxi. Cost: One Way: Adults $35 | Children $20 Fuel cost (car pooling) will be calculated separately |

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
