THE BBQ WILL BE GOING AHEAD. SEE YOU THERE. AROUND 12PM. Graeme Join us for the annual Christmas barbeque and cricket match with WaimeaTramping Club at Rabbit Island. Bring your own everything, including the family, for the BBQ and some food to share. Come early for a beach walk if you like. We'll start BBQ lunch at 12pm and meet at the Manuka Picnic Area, or at the nearest available spot if this one is taken. Cricket match to follow. Rules: 1. Teams to be equally balanced in terms of numbers 2. Only tennis balls will be used. 3. A 'batperson' cannot go out first ball ! 4. If you hit the ball, you have to run.
5. No fours or sixes. All runs have to be run with a maximum of 6 for a lost ball? 6. 'Batpersons' must retire once they have scored 20. 7. Each team member must bowl (6 balls). Underarm or overarm accepted.
8. No LBW. Caught, stumped and bowled out only. Lets make sure we WIN the trophy this year.

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
