Current plan is to walk in Friday evening to Lake Head Hut and get to Cupola Hut early the next day. This will allow a more casual approach, give time to collect firewood and perhaps explore the Sunday route up to Mt Cupola. If conditions are good, then on Sunday head towards Mt Cupola and walk out. I will explore water taxis options for the return. I will limit this to the first seven people. However, be prepared to sleep on the floor if other people are in the hut. Anyone booking this trip needs good snow skills and be competent with ice axe and crampons. Stay tuned. |
